Meet Timmy Hansen - one of our top ten team leaders this year - and hear why he's so excited to be a part of the FIA SDC.
FIA SDC Team leader Timmy Hansen is not only fast on the track - he is also involved in making driving more sustainable.
An important part of the FIA SDC is our team leaders. They are there as the experts, helping the everyday drivers to become better on the roads.
We can all learn from their skills behind the wheel and frankly - smart driving isn't that different from competitive racing. It requires focus, anticipation and full control over every single move you make. IN order for you to become better we have gathered some true professionals to support you on your way. This is what the team leaders are there for. To help you excel in your own driving and to inspire you with their achievements.
He is a World RX and Extreme E driver ranking 4th in the season of 2021 together with partner Catie Munnings (also one of our team leaders).
Hansen also is a part of a family of motorsport professionals. He is the son of 14-times European Rallycross Champion Kenneth Hansen, his mom, the 1994 ERA European Cup winner, Susann Hansen and his brother rallycross driver Kevin Hansen all share the love for engines.
This year he also ranked as one of our top ten team leaders globally. This is quite an achievement as it takes dedication to be able to do so. So we reached out to him in order to get some feedback on what he feels about being one of the smartest team leaders in the world. Busy, as always, he did manage to send us this video greeting - on the go.
As you can tell - this is one very proud team leader who is excited to take his team to the next level for season 2022.
Is Timmy the man for you? Are you more into someone else?
You can see all of our team leaders and learn everything you'd ever want to know about them here.

Rallycross is a sprint style automobile racing, held on a closed mixed-surface racing circuit, with modified or specially built cars, similar to the World Rally Cars. It is especially popular in the Nordics, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and The UK.
The FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) is head-to-head short, sharp racing on mixed surfaces (dirt and asphalt) contained within amphi-theatre venues.
High-profile drivers are equipped with RX Supercars with over 600bhp and the ability to accelerate from 0-60mph in less than two seconds. This is even faster than an F1 car.
